If you’re looking for a professional windscreen removal tool, then look no further than Windscreen Wizard. These tools allow users to remove a whole windscreen in just minutes due to the specialised design, made with the expertise of engineers, combined with companies and technicians who have the experience and skills in removing windscreens.

Making use of a wire removal system and suitable for modern windscreens, we stock the square wire separately as 50 metres of col on a plastic reel, as well as the full removal kit. It is important to note that this is a professional product that should be used by a qualified technician. Those who are trained in the industry will be able to use this product to its full capabilities, easily removing a vehicle’s windscreen within just twenty minutes.

The beauty of this product is in its simplicity, with the wire pulled through the surrounding urethane on which the windscreen sits, cutting it as easily as cheese. The cutting element is mounted on the interior of the windscreen by suction-activated vacuum pumps, to which a fence-tensioning type of ratchet is attached. When the ratchet is wound, this pulls the wire through the sealant around the windscreen. Once finished with the cutting process, it is then possible to lift out the windscreen.

There are many advantages to using this system, which is why most vehicle dealers and insurance work now stipulates that automated wiring devices such as this are used when replacing a windscreen. Using this tool reduces the risk of injury or strain for the technician, and prevents any damage to both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. As there is no damage to the existing glass, it is also possible to re-use it once removed, if needed.

When it is removed, the vehicle aperture has a tight clean urethane bond left. This makes it possible to carry out a direct refit with minimal cutback needed. It also enables the user to remove tight or encapsulated windscreens where blades can't fit, as well as operating on rear glass, quarter lights, sunroofs on a range of different vehicles (including cars, trucks, buses and more). Lastly, it can also offer customers a reduction in the cost of consumables.
